Day 1 Q Kunming
On arrival in Kunming, meet our local guide and transfer to hotel. Explore the city on your own.
Day 2 Stone Forest Golden Temple
Enjoy half day excursion to the Stone Forest, roughly 100km from Kunming. It is a world of stone peaks, stalactite-stalagmites, subterranean rivers and underground limestone caves. For this topographical turmoil the place is dubbed “Number One Wonder in the World” . After lunch, drive back to Kunming and visit Golden Temple. Built in 1671,the temple has the largest bronze temple in China, weighing an estimated 250 tons. Transfer back to hotel. (B+L)
Day 3 Kunming Q Lijiang Dayan Old Town Square Street
Free at leisure till pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport for Lijiang, which is one of China’s cities of historic and cultural significance. On arrival, meet our local guide and transfer to hotel. Half day tour features the Dayan Old Town and Square Street. (B+L)
Day 4 Jade Dragon Mountain Baisha Fresco Dongba Research Institute
Shuhe Old Town Lijiang ~ Dali
Visit Jade Dragon Mountain (including cable car in Yunshanping) and Baisha Fresco in the morning. After typical Chinese style lunch, visit the Shuhe Old Town and Dongba Research Institute. Take 2 hrs drive for Dali, the jewel of the Southwest China. (B+L)
Day 5 Cruise on Erhai Lake Xizhou Bai Minority Village Three Pagodas Mt. Cangshan Old Dali
Morning tour features the a boat ride on Erhai Lake. Then visit the Xizhou Bai Minority Village. After lunch, visit Three Pagodas Temple and climb Mt. Cangshan via cable car. The snow on Mt. Cangshan is a wonderful scene in Dali. (B+L)
Day 6 Dali Q Kunming
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport to connect the flight for Kunming. End of tour. (B)
